Business ethic are more important then you think, it helps get you business and it help you keep business. Most business are committed to behaving a certain manner and believe there is a right and wrong way to do things. When businesses are in business just for the money that means they really don’t have ethic, being in business isnt all about the money, its about the people. good business ethics would be not to discriminate against anyone, staff you hire or customer/clients you serve. Because if you discriminate against them they can come back and you will get sued for anything you say that is out of line. Ways to have ethics can be just by the people you hire, make sure that the staff you have are knowledgeable and good at what they do, because this looks great for your company, don’tjust hire them cause you need staff take the time to get to know these people and see if there what your looking for. Attention to business ethics has helped in society, decades ago children were slave laborer and were made to work 16 hour days, the adult worker had arms and legs torn off, which meant they were condemned to a life of being disabled and poor. Once society reacted, they demanded that businesses needed to be fair and also needed equal right for the employees. At that time anti trust law were placed, governemt agencies were established, and unions were organiszed for that reason. So basically business ethics is an insurance policy for businesses, because they have to treat there employees with dignity and respect, because of what other have been through, imagine if this had never happened where businesses would be today.
